Long term client Microsoft entrusted VMG Studios to produce the launch event for Microsoft Security Copilot’s integration into Microsoft Defender. The 22-minute event, Discover the Power of Microsoft Security Copilot, heralded the groundbreaking introduction of Copilot and AI technology into Microsoft’s cybersecurity tools. We knew the scale of the production needed to match the importance of the moment.
We wanted the production to reflect the scale and vibrancy of a TED Talk. So we proposed shooting the keynote speaker, CVP Vasu Jakkal, and supporting interviews, in an LED Volume studio with a curved 90’ x 16’ foot screen displaying branded motion graphics and supporting text in real time.
Working with original Figma files, we developed realistic, interactive demos of the new integration. The event was designed to be engaging and open, showcasing interviewee customers sharing their positive experiences with the Copilot in Defender beta launch.
The video served as a powerful global customer outreach tool, widely shared across social media channels, blogs, and announcements. The successful rollout was a testament to the strong collaboration between Microsoft’s vision and VMG’s expertise. Drawing on our extensive on-set virtual production experience, we delivered the project on a tight timeline, ensuring a memorable and impactful launch that resonated with audiences worldwide. This project was an expansion of our ongoing relationship with Microsoft Security teams.
