Microsoft partnered with VMG Studios in a series of videos demonstrating the combined power of HP devices and Microsoft software. We decided to take the technology out of the office and show it in action in some dynamic environments–very dynamic. We hired a professional stuntwoman and captured intense combat stunts, run-and-tumble falls, and even a dramatic moment of conflagration. This was more than adrenal eye candy, we juxtaposed the dramatic stunts with moments that showed how instructors and students use Microsoft tools and HP Devices to teach, critique, and improve their performance–all crucially important to safely executing potentially dangerous stunts.
Using an HP convertible laptop, the class instructor recorded the stunts, freeze-framed key moments, and annotated them with a stylus to highlight crucial positions and movements. This vivid demonstration showcased the products’ practical benefits in an exciting context. The resulting video was fun to watch and deftly illustrated the product features. The result was an exciting, high-quality piece that thrilled all of us.
